Google Penguin 4.0 : Now Part of Core Algorithm & Real Time

There was lot of discussion about Google update from last 20 days whether it was Panda or Penguin update, because it was started early signs of Google update.

Now Google has officially announced on 23 September 2016 on the webmaster blog that Penguin 4.0 is now part of core algorithm & it’s real time.

Google’s algorithm is based on more than 200 exclusive signs or “clues” to surface what you look for. The signals comprise varied things such as the specific words that can appear on the websites, the content freshness, your region as well as PageRank. The specific algorithm signal is Penguin that was launched in the year 2012 firstly and is updated now.

After the development and testing, today, we have rolled out Penguin algorithm update in all languages. Some changes are as follows found in the new update:

Meet the real time Penguin: In the past, varied sites affected by Penguin were periodically refreshed simultaneously. Once a webmaster significantly improved his site and its internet presence, varied Google’s algorithms take that into concern very fast, but some others including Penguin should need to be refreshed. This change has enabled Penguin’s data to be refreshed in real time to make the changes visible at a much faster pace and taking effect very shortly after recrawling and reindexing a page.

Penguin has become more granular: Penguin now diminishes spam by adjusting the ranking based on the spam signals, rather than upsetting ranking of the complete site.

The web has considerably changed over the years. But as we told you in original post that webmasters are free to focus on developing amazing and compelling websites. It is also very important to keep in mind that updates such as Penguin are only one among the 200 signals we are using to determine rank.
